To help your body (and your mind) cope with containment, we asked our beloved adaptogens expert, Eva, to share with us her favorite recipe.

What are adaptogens?

They are non-toxic plants, herbs and fungi that help the body fight against stressors, whichever their source.

In this latte you will find 3 of them:

– Reishi, a fungus known for its abilities to strengthen the immune system, reduce stress and fatigue, and promote a better sleep;

– Maca, which boosts energy and promotes a balanced hormonal system;

– Ashwagandha, natural energy booster that helps fighting fatigue and promotes a better memory.

Ginger and cinnamon have also be included for their antiseptic, energizing and anti-inflammatory properties.

You’ll find the ingredients in organic food shops:

-3/4 cup hot water

-1/3 cup plant based milk (oat, rice or almond for example)

-1 tbsp raw cocoa powder

-1 tsp reishi

-1 tsp maca powder

-1/2 tsp ashwagandha powder

-1 tsp mapple syrup or 1 date

-1/4 tsp cinnamon powder

-2 slices or fresh ginger

Mix all the ingredient in a blender, filter any fiber residue if necessary, and indulge into a short meditative break to enjoy all the benefits of your latte.
