Le Sorbet is a high-shine vegan lipstick with a high-performance formula! It glides on perfectly, stays on for hours, and promises long-lasting comfort. It also works to restore and maintain the very fragile ecosystem of the skin of the lips. A subtle, almost rosy red to enhance and beautify your lips, so they're absolutely kissable… and absolutely irresistible.

Centella Asiatica
This plant has been used in traditional medicine for over 2,000 years, to improve the healing process – an ability that's directly linked to its two main constituents: saponosides (madecassoside, asiaticoside) and triterpenes (asiatic acid, madecassic acid). These molecules are involved in the production of collagen and fibroblasts – cells that play an important role in tissue regeneration.

Argan oil
Rich in Vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids, this oil helps to restore the hydrolipidic film and increases the supply of nutrients to cells, to slow down the effects of aging.

Jojoba oil
Also known as "the gold of the Incas." Every year, the Jojoba shrub produces numerous oily seeds, from which a liquid wax – known as jojoba oil – is extracted. Its composition is very similar to that of sebum. It protects against dehydration, reduces moisture loss, nourishes, and sinks into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Known for its calming and repairing action, it also protects, softens, and improves suppleness.

New vegan formula

We've reworked our formulas to make the shades even shinier, and we've stopped using beeswax, following requests from our vegan customers. 100% of the total ingredients are naturally derived for the Malaga and Brun de Mars shades. As for the Cerise shade, "only" 98% of the total ingredients are naturally derived. Why? Because we chose to use synthetic pigments rather than carmine to obtain this radiant red, so no cochineal bugs would be sacrificed! This also means this shade can't be certified organic, but it complies with all our requirements in terms of formulation, naturally!

Le Sorbet: pleasing to the eye, pleasing to the planet 

Inevitably, the packaging of a lipstick will become waste, but when it's made from recycled plastic and designed to last between three months and one year (or more!), this makes it very different from single-use plastic. Both the cap and base of this lipstick's packaging are made from 100% recycled PET, also called PCR PET (Post-Consumer Recycled PET material).   

PCR is a recycled, recyclable material (it meets the Global Recycled Standard) that offers a more sustainable packaging solution. The production of PCR generates 25% fewer greenhouse gases than the production of a regular plastic material. PCR accounts for approximately one third of our lipstick packaging. The rest is made from metal – which is recyclable. Only the mechanism part cannot be recycled – for now!  

We also work with a supplier who is committed to reducing water consumption. In 2016, he set up a system to recycle his wastewater, and he continues to improve this system from one year to the next (in 2019, over 250,000 liters of water were recycled). Since May 2020, our supplier has also used PV panels, which should reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 35,000 kg per year.
