In accordance with European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (the “GDPR”) and the amended French Data Protection Act, this privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes the commitment of www.absolution-cosmetics.com, operated by Isabelle Carron (30 rue des Vinaigriers, 75010 Paris – 503 418 865 00054 – VAT No. FR72503418865), as data controller, regarding the protection of users’ personal data.

It explains which data we collect, why we use it, how it is protected, and your rights.

This Policy applies to data collected:

  • Via emails exchanged between www.absolution-cosmetics.com and you, or any other email service

Only authorized Absolution Cosmetics staff access your data as part of their duties (orders, billing, support).

  • Banking: Banque Populaire

  • Shipping: La Poste, Colissimo, DHL, FedEx

  • Emailing: Klaviyo

  • Accounting and legal obligations: accountants, tax authorities

All are contractually required to maintain confidentiality and protect your data.

5. Transfers Outside the EU
Some data may be transferred outside the European Union (e.g., via Google, Klaviyo, PayPal). These transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, ensuring GDPR-compliant protection.

Primary data storage is provided by Infomaniak in Switzerland (recognized as adequate by the European Commission).

6. Data Retention

  • Newsletter: until unsubscribed

  • Contact forms / communications without order: 1 year max

  • Order and billing data: 10 years (legal obligation)

  • User account: data retained while account is active, then archived 10 years for accounting obligations

  • Cookies: up to 6 months for analytics cookies, 13 months for others

After these periods, data is anonymized for statistical use only.

7. Data Security
Your data is stored on secure servers protected by firewalls and antivirus software. Technical and organizational measures are in place to prevent loss, alteration, unauthorized access, or disclosure. However, total security on the Internet cannot be guaranteed: you are also responsible for keeping your login credentials and password confidential.

8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have:

  • The right of access, correction, and deletion

  • The right to restriction and objection

  • The right to data portability

  • The right to withdraw consent at any time
