Soothes reactive skin, with Blue Tansy

Blue Tansy, also known as Blue Chamomile, grows throughout Europe, and particularly in Mediterranean regions. It was revered by the Egyptians and has appeared in botanical pharmacopoeias for centuries, where it is recommended for alleviating allergic reactions. When its leaves are distilled, they yield a blue-colored essential oil that's rich in chamazulene – a compound known for its calming and soothing properties, which immediately relieves reactive skin, or skin damaged by the cold or UV rays.

Restores, with Coconut oil
Obtained by pressing fresh coconut flesh, Coconut oil acts in several ways. Its texture helps to restore good cellular cohesion and promotes hydration. It contains Vitamins A and E – powerful antioxidants – enabling it to help improve cell renewal and restore the skin barrier. Finally, its richness in lauric acid (48%!) – a saturated fatty acid with antimicrobial properties – also makes it ideal for fighting blemishes.

Helps correct imperfections thanks to Chaulmoogra oil
This oil from India is known for its ability to even out skin tone by intervening in the migration of melanin. In this way it helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven pigmentation. It's rich in specific fatty acids, called cyclic acids. This gives its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, so it can fight skin problems, making it an excellent ingredient to help keep skin healthy and beautiful.

A synergy of active ingredients

Plants work together naturally! They complement and strengthen each other, for optimum results. That's why this formula also contains the following ingredients: Calendula hydrosol to soothe the skin; Avocado and Macadamia oils for their repairing properties; Arnica macerated oil for its richness in carotenoids and phytosterols, which help to improve the skin's barrier function and microcirculation; essential oils of Rosemary (purifying), Spike Lavender (purifying and calming) and Bourbon Geranium (invigorating).

Same formula, new packaging!

Le Baume Céleste now comes in a 100ml tube, so it’s easier to apply and there’s twice as much product as before! The tube is made from aluminum – a material that’s infinitely recyclable, plus 92% less energy is used to recycle it. It also effectively preserves the formula, so the use of preservatives can be minimized. The percentage of preservatives in this formula is just 0.2%, and they’re approved by COSMOS, of course!
