Hydrates with Hyaluronic Acid
This gel-like substance is produced naturally by the body, and fills the spaces between skin cells, binding them closely together. But as we get older, our ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases. By the age of 50, the skin contains 50% less hyaluronic acid than it did in its youth, causing it to lose its elasticity. We chose to use a plant-based hyaluronic acid, which is derived from the biofermentation of corn with a lactic bacterium. To ensure a high level of purity and quality, no chemical solvents are used in its production.

Its «medium» molecular weight makes it multifunctional: it delivers moisture directly to cells, prevents the evaporation of water, and stimulates your skin’s own production of hyaluronic acid by «mirroring» it. Its volumizing effect helps to soften the appearance of fine lines and plump the skin. Plus, it works perfectly with all skin moods – even the most sensitive.

Strengthens with Codium seaweed

This green seaweed has a velvety texture, and the one we use is harvested on the Emerald Coast of Brittany. Rich in sulfated polysaccharides, glucuronic acid and minerals, which enhance skin hydration, it deeply hydrates the skin, while increasing its ability to trap moisture. Within 72 hours, its restructuring action on the stratum corneum leaves skin visibly plumped.

Revitalizes with Astragalus extract

Astragalus falls into the category of adaptogenic plants – plants that have a balancing effect on the body and help it to cope with stress. More recently, Astragalus has been used in cosmetics, where it has been shown to have beneficial properties. It’s rich in polyphenols, enabling it to stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin, thus improving skin’s elasticity and tone.

A synergy of active ingredients

Plants work together naturally! They complement and strengthen each other, for optimum results. That’s why this formula also includes the following ingredients: Cucumber extract, particularly rich in potassium, calcium, and magnesium (three powerful active ingredients that play a role in regulating skin structure); Coriander, with regulating and soothing properties; Alpine Skullcap, which stimulates the release of endorphins, to make your skin happy; and Grapefruit extract, for a very gentle micro-exfoliating effect. In all, 17 active ingredients are brought together to leave your skin glowing with health.

Protecting your skin – and the planet

In line with our determination to minimize our carbon footprint, we have opted for a new aluminum tube. This material is infinitely recyclable and protects the formula perfectly. It effectively preserves the formula, so preservatives can be minimized. Our formula only contains 0.2% preservatives – and they’re authorized by COSMOS, of course!
