Your weekly ritual

A deep treatment

One to two times a week, apply Le Masque Velours Repulpant on clean skin for 20 minutes. If your skin feels particularly uncomfortable, add two drops of our Addiction oil and leave on overnight like a cream. Le Masque Velours Repulpant can be safely used on the eye and lip contour areas.

Ingredients you can trust

One of the most widely used medicinal plants, Aloe Vera is used to treat burns, including sunburn, to heal wounds and to combat cellular aging. Its composition is very interesting: like a cactus, it contains over 99% water. The remaining 1% is a very potent synergy of 12 vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B12, C, E...) but also numerous minerals, trace elements and amino acids.

This plant has been used in traditional medicine for over 2,000 years, to improve the healing process. This ability is directly linked to its two main constituents: saponosides (madecassoside, asiaticoside) and triterpenes (asiatic acid, madecassic acid). These molecules are involved in the production of collagen and fibroblasts – cells that play an important role in tissue regeneration.

According to legend, the concubine Yang Guifei owed her beauty to this Chinese mushroom. Boasting exceptional hydrating properties, it replenishes moisture and helps to restore the skin's barrier function. It significantly reduces cellular oxidation, thus fighting the skin-aging process. Snow Mushroom is said to be 10 times more powerful than hyaluronic acid.

Our tips for better sleep

Sleep

You sleep between 6 and 7 hours. Slightly shorter nights can sometimes be felt in your overall energy… and in your skin’s radiance. According to a study published in Sleep (2017), even moderate sleep restriction can influence how vitality and facial attractiveness are perceived. To compensate, help your cells take in more oxygen through conscious breathing: inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 8, and repeat five times. This simple exercise reduces oxidative stress and reawakens your inner energy.

And if your schedule allows it, a 10-minute nap after lunch can restore alertness and concentration, while supporting your body’s overall recovery.

Nutrition

You eat healthily and cook a lot.

Your habits are ideal: a diet rich in colorful plant foods, good fats (avocado, nuts, olive oil), and high-quality proteins is one of the best allies for balanced skin. Every color on your plate brings its own set of antioxidants: carotenoids from carrots and sweet potatoes enhance radiance, while polyphenols from berries help protect against oxidative stress.

A study published in Nutrients (2021) confirms that plant diversity in the diet is directly correlated with better skin health.

Keep exploring variety, but make sure pleasure remains a key ingredient: cooking and enjoying your meals mindfully nourishes your skin with serenity as much as with nutrients.
